Bristol Palin Dancing with the Stars 2010: Fixed (Watch)!
Bristol Palin is arguably one of the worst dancers to ever grace the Dancing with the Stars stage. She has no rhythm and no confidence and quite possibly the worst attitude of any contestant the show has ever seen (with the exception of Kate Gosselin, of course) and yet she manages to squeak by every week as legitimately talented dancers (like Audrina Patridge and Rick Fix) go home. So what gives?
Throughout the season, I’ve watched the judges give poor marks and poor comments to some of the dancers (like Mike Sorrentino and Margaret Cho) who made it through their dances without missing a step and adding some fun and excitement to the dance. I’ve also watched the judges give great marks and great comments to Bristol Palin who constantly forgets her steps and flops her way through each dance.
Don’t get me wrong, this has nothing to do with politics. I don’t care that she’s Sarah Palin’s daughter or that her ex-boyfriend is running for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska – I honestly don’t. What I do care about is the fact that the judges are tippy-toeing around her feelings and giving nasty comments to other contestants who are clearly performing at a higher level than Bristol at this point in the competition.
Bristol Palin is not a good dancer. America may be stupid enough to waste their votes on a contestant who clearly shows no talent and little passion for the competition but the judges are there to do a job. They are getting paid to honestly and fairly critique each dancer and provide scores that reflect the level of dancing the contestant shows each night. For the first time in the history of Dancing with the Stars, that is not happening.
Take a look at Bristol’s dance from last night below and let us know if you agree with the marks she was given:
If she doesn’t go home tonight, I’m convinced the show is 100 percent fixed!
Wonder what Audrina’s mom thinks about Bristol still being in the competition!
