CMA Winners: CMA Awards 2010
Gwenyth Paltrow may have performed for the first time live at the CMA Awards, singing the single, ‘Country Strong’ from the upcoming film, but she’s not the only star who had a night to remember.
Miranda Lambert – who was also celebrating her 27th birthday – was the big winner of the evening, taking home the ‘Female Vocalist of the Year,’ ‘Album of the Year,’ ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Video of the Year’ awards.
Her fiancé, Blake Shelton took home a trophy for ‘Musical Event of the Year’ for ‘Hillbilly Bone,’ featuring Trace Adkins.
Entertainer of the Year winner – and CMA co-host – Brad Paisley thanked his hero, Little Jimmy Dickens, while accepting his honor. “If you see a little turtle on a fence post, it had help getting up there. I feel just like a turtle on the fence post at this point,” Brad said in thanks.
