Taylor Momsen Blames Parents for Bad Attitude
Taylor Momsen is the 17-year old star of Gossip Girl and lead singer of the band The Pretty Reckless. She wears lingerie as clothing, way too much eyeliner, and says things like, “If it’s a good sex tape, I’ll watch it” for attention.
Worst of all, she makes me incredibly cranky.
But none of this is her fault, according to Taylor, who says the world has her parents to thank for her bad attitude. Apparently the singer – actress is “miserable” and she blames her mom and dad.
“My parents signed me up with Ford [modeling agency] at the age of two. No two-year old wants to be working, but I had no choice,” she says [via New York Daily News].
The teenager alleges that her overbearing parents ruined her childhood by forcing her to act. It’s hard to remember, but Taylor played the adorable Cindy Loo-Hoo in ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ when she was 7 years old.
“My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn’t have any friends. I was working constantly and I didn’t have a real life.”
Taylor’s old enough to communicate to her parents that she wants to quit showbiz now though, so please, feel free to do so. And GET OFF MY LAWN!
