Prince William and Kate Middleton may be hogging the engagement spotlight today, but they’re not the only couple to announce impeding nuptials; UFC fighter and Dancing with the Stars alum Chuck Liddell has proposed to his professional poker player girlfriend Heidi Northcott. You might also remember the pair from their Reebok naked workout ad that went viral back in Feburary.
The Daily Mail reports that Heidi showed off her huge diamond engagement ring on the beach in Miami, and also told the world of their engagement via Twitter. “I just feel so happy! Thank you for all of the love and support,” she wrote. She also said Chuck’s proposal was “awesome.” The couple will appear at the Pechanga resort this weekend.
Chuck, 40, proposed to Heidi after a ride over the Grand Canyon during a trip to Las Vegas. Aww, romantic! This is the first marriage for both of them. They have not yet set a date.
