As Twirlit previously reported, Eva Longoria has filed for divorce from her husband, San Antonio Spurs point guard, Tony Parker.
Eva is said to be “devastated” at the dissolution of her marriage, which comes as the Desperate Housewives star was allegedly “totally and completely blindsided” by Tony’s infidelity.
Us Weekly reports that the basketball player “has been exchanging personal texts with a mutual friend for nearly a year – hundreds in one month.”
Tony confessed to his inappropriate behavior when Eva confronted him, ending their 3 year marriage.
“Once the trust was lost, the marriage was over,” a friend close to the couple said.
“Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him,” the pal continued, adding that the actress is, “inconsolable.”
According to PEOPLE magazine, divorce papers were filed early Wednesday morning.
The couple first met in 2004, and famously wed at a French castle just outside of Paris in 2007.
