Ryan Reynolds is sexy, and now he’s got the magazine cover to prove it. The actor has just been named the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ by PEOPLE magazine. Ryan nudged out last year’s winner, Johnny Depp to land the coveted title.
“My body naturally wants to look like Dick Van Dyke,” the actor confessed. “When I stop training, I turn into a skin-colored whisper.” Somehow I doubt that.
“You just have to go with the flow,” Ryan said about his new title. However he did admit, “This gives my family entry into teasing me for the rest of my life.”
Still, being named the ‘Sexiest Man’ isn’t without a few perks. Ryan joked that he expects his wife of two years, Scarlett Johansson, who was recently named GQ’s ‘Babe of the Year’ to start using his new title.
“Now it’s going to be, ‘Sexiest man, take out the garbage.’ That does sound better,” he joked. “The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers.”
Appearing in ‘National Lampoon’s Van Wilder,’ ‘The Proposal,’ and ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ Ryan takes the lead in next summer’s blockbuster adaptation of ‘The Green Lantern.’
