Charlie Sheen has filed a lawsuit against porn star Capri Anderson, claiming that she tried to extort him for $1 million after their hotel room rendezvous-gone-wrong back in October. Us Weekly reports that Charlie’s lawsuit alleges that Capri (whose real name is Christina Walsh) demanded “at least one million dollars” in exchange for keeping quiet about the incident. She also threatened to go to prosecutors and have Sheen’s probation revoked (Charlie was put on probation after an incident with then-wife Brooke Mueller in Aspen last Christmas). Charlie is asking for an unspecified amount of damages.
Yesterday, Capri appeared on Good Morning America, saying that she plans to sue Charlie for battery, assault, false imprisonment and emotional distress. She also says that she feared for her life that night and wants Charlie to pay for his mistakes.
Charlie Sheen’s lawyer responded: “At no time did Sheen assault, batter or threaten Walsh.” In the lawsuit, Charlie’s camp says that Capri simply tried “to embarrass him and attempt to damage his career by going to the media with her false tale.” The suit also calls Capri “an opportunistic pornographic film star and publicity hungry scam-artist” (ouch!) who stole Charlie’s $165,000 Patek Phillippe watch. (Nice parting gift, eh?)
Let the legal battles begin!
