Who Won Dancing with the Stars 2010? Post-Show Reactions
Dancing with the Stars fans likely breathed a collective sigh of relief Tuesday night, when it was announced that Jennifer Grey – not Bristol Palin – had won the mirrorball trophy. Kyle Massey was this season’s runner up, while Bristol placed third in the competition.
But just how did Jennifer feel when she learned that she had won the popular dancing reality show?
“I didn’t even think about winning when I first started. This is so unbelievable,” she told PEOPLE. “I feel so grateful, so blessed, that I had this opportunity to spend three months learning to dance and getting paid for it. I don’t know that there’s any experience that will ever be anything like this again.”
The actress, who battled cancer and four neck surgeries before her appearance on the show, reportedly ruptured a disc in her back following Monday night’s finale performance. Jennifer credits her husband and daughter’s unwavering support as one of the reasons for her win.
Meanwhile, pro dancer Kym Johnson told reporters that Jennifer deserved to win – and David Hasselhoff agreed, adding, “I’m glad they got it right because everybody was getting scared there for a minute.”
