Lady Gaga’s upcoming album – scheduled for a 2011 release – has been receiving hype for months. However, the pop star herself recently called her latest work “the greatest album of this decade,” and previously telling concertgoers that the CD could hold up to 20 new tracks.
“I promise you, I’ll never let you down. And not for nothing: The album’s finished and it’s f**king really good,” the pop star told an audience of adoring ‘Little Monsters’ during a recent concert in Poland. “So whatever this is, whatever you just did for all of us… I promise to give you the greatest album of this decade, just for you.”
“The funny thing is that people have reduced freedom to a brand,” she continued. “They think that it’s trendy to be free. When in truth, there is nothing trendy about ‘Born This Way.’ This connection that we all share is something so much deeper than a wig or lipstick or an outfit, or a f**king meat dress. ‘Born this Way’ is about what keeps us up at night and what makes us afraid.”

Gaga’s manager, Akon, and even Elton John have all gushed about the soon-to-be-released record. “Her record – it’s f**king amazing,” Elton told Entertainment Weekly [via MTV].
