Britney Spears is speaking out about Jason Alexander’s claims that her current beau, Jason Trawick abused her.
“Star Magazine, Radar Online, Jason Alexander and the rest of you liars. Ya’ll can kiss my lily white southern Louisiana a**!” she tweeted, also making it clear that all is well in her relationship with Jason Trawick.
“Off on a romantic weekend with Jason for my birthday,” she continued.
Twirlit first reported the story Wednesday, but made it known that we had a few doubts regarding the allegations.
Yet despite denials from Britney and her camp, Star Magazine continues to run with the story, standing behind their source Jason Alexander, and maintaining that the “fraudulent recordings” are in fact legitimate.
“Star Magazine stands by its story that Britney Spears told her ex-husband, Jason Alexander, that her boyfriend, Jason Trawick beat her,” the gossip mag said in a statement [via New York Daily News].
“Mr. Alexander passed a polygraph test administered by Star, where he was specifically asked, ‘Did you record a phone conversation that you had with Britney Spears?”
Now Britney’s lawyers are gearing up for a lawsuit, her manager, Larry Rudolph tells US Weekly. “It’s amazing that Star continues to try to defend their story by putting out more and more pieces of a fraudulent recording…The more they put out, the more ridiculous they look. The lawyers are drawing up the legal papers right now; there 100 percent will be a lawsuit.”
However, Star is not backing down – a source tells Perez Hilton that the magazine has been digging into Jason Trawick’s past, looking for dirt. “They’re hoping to get or create negative stories,” the insider revealed. “I wouldn’t be surprised if Star made even more sh*t up!”
