Kate Gosselin has made quite the transformation over the years and this week the mom-of-eight is swapping mommy duty for another round of highlights at a popular NYC salon.
Over the past year or so (since her divorce from Jon Gosselin), Kate has switched gears, tossing her signature hairstyle aside for a longer, sleeker look.
This week, the controversial mom showed off a clean-cut, very blonde look with chunky side-swept bangs and the new ‘do appears to be working for her.

Between her glowing skin and chic new haircut it’s easy to see that Kate is spending more time at the salon than at home with her kids.
Does she look good? Absolutely. But if her sexy new look comes at the cost of the kids losing time with their precious mom, we say ditch the salon.
Here’s an idea Kate: Spend more time with your kids (without the cameras rolling) and less time living it up in New York City and maybe – just maybe – you won’t have two kids who’ve already been expelled from school before hitting the second grade. It’s just a thought.
Has anyone else noticed that the ONLY time Kate is seen with her kids is when the cameras are rolling?
Don’t you just want to wipe that smug smile off her face?

kate knows the dog and pony show is just about over with and she is going out in a blaze of glory, spending every penny of money that the children have worked for the last 5 years.
She has cheated churches out of money, cheated on Jon, cheated her children out of a decent and normal childhood and now is suing Jon for 125K in back child support. He paid over 80K this year for 8 kids. that boils down to 800 dollars a month for each child. there are familys that are struggling with 800 dollars a month. Her closet is full of designer high heels. her own daughter said on camera that her mother needs to knock out a wall and build a bigger closet so she would have more room in her closet for shoes. Most of her high heel hooker heels cost several hundred dollars each. she loves the 500 to ? whatever range. Team JonEG8!

I don’t care for her at all, but I like the look.
Her new haido covers her wonky eye.
Kate looks great. The kids are in school…the two at home are in the care of a private tutor.
TLC pics up the tab with Ted Gibson. Kate had other business in NY as well.
She always limits her time away only to do what she has to in the way of work.
Going to get your nails done or a tanning appt. is hardly time away from the kids! She goes while they are in school while she is out grocery shopping, etc.
Geesh! What’s the big deal?
She’s the only responsible parent providing structure, education and loving care for these adorable kids.
Jon’s child support fund has run out…Kate is only parent working. Can we cut the gal some slack?
Does anyone care about this woman? It is WAY to blonde for this time of year living in Pa. Kate really needs to concentrate on a career that only she is involved with. We just can’t wait until Maddie turns the age when she “tells all”!!!
She is white Pennsylvania trash, trying to be O so NY ! ! ! Not working.
Where’s Steve. It would have been more fun if he were there.
@Tabitha: Your clueless. Seriously, its people like you that are ruining the kids of today. Why don’t you do something good this Christmas. Have a homeless person for dinner, help out at your local food bank. Instead you worship a self-centered, materialstic mother like Kate. Teach your kids some values, like integrity and class. I see not one good quality in Kate. She sells her kids privacy for money. THAT IS NOT HARD WORKING!!!!
Adorable kids, please where are you getting your information. They are terrors. To be expelled before you hit first grade should hopefully at the very least have those two and the mother in mandated therapy. Hope all the kids are in therapy but knowing how cheap Kate is (unless it is for her and in front of the camera) there is no way in xxxx she will pay for that!
Thank God these kids have one parent who truly seems to love them for them; let’s give Jon some credit where credit is due. He has tried for years to stop the cameras.
