Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C Hall Divorce
Dexter co-stars Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have announced they are calling it quits. The actors, who play brother and sister on the television series, have confirmed that they have decided to end their two-year marriage.
“Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce,” reps for the former couple said in a statement.
Access Hollywood first reported the break up news, after Jennifer attended Dexter’s fifth season finale party solo. The actress was notably a “pillar of strength” for her husband has he battled Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
The actors reportedly had not been getting along on set all season, a source tells Access, and Jennifer had been quite vocal about her relationship problems during the course of the show’s production. Now the cast and crew are said to be worried about how Jennifer and Michael are going to work as closely together on set next season.
TMZ reports that it was Jennifer who ultimately pulled the plug on their marriage.
