Mariah Carey Having Twins!
Go easy on Mariah Carey’s new full figure – she’s eating for three! People Magazine reports that the singer is pregnant with twins! Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon set the record straight on his radio show this morning.
Mariah and Nick, who confirmed the pregnancy back in October, have been reluctant to talk about their private news to the media since Mariah previously had a miscarriage. But there’s one couple they couldn’t play coy with: President and Michelle Obama. While performing at TNT’s Christmas in Washington 2010 on Sunday, Mariah ran into the first couple backstage and got the third degree. Nick explained: ”They, ironically enough, questioned my wife about, you know, ‘So, what are you having, are you having twins?’ ” Cannon said Thursday morning on his 92.3 Rollin’ With Nick Cannon radio show.
“And at this point she hadn’t told anybody anything because doctors advised us to keep it to ourselves until we get further along,” he said. “And because of the excitement, because of the emotion, she was overwhelmed [and] she shared with the President and First Lady that we are having twins.”
This sheds a little light on why the camera was a bit distorted for Mariah’s ABC Christmas special…
