Betty Ford chemical dependency technician Dawn Holland claims Lindsay Lohan and two other patients attempted to sneak back into the clinic after a night out, jumping a wall close to their residence.
It was this incident which lead to the misdemeanor assault charges filed against Lindsay.
Dawn alleges she was called to do a breathalyzer test on the actress and the other Betty Ford patients, but Lindsay refused, swearing up a storm and ultimately severely spraining Dawn’s hand, which forced her to file for workers compensation. Dawn claims she smelled alcohol on Lindsay’s breath [via TMZ].
Betty Ford fired Dawn after the incident, when it was discovered the employee had been paid at least $10,000 by TMZ to spill on Lindsay.
The actress insists that it was the rehab staffer who was out of line, attacking Lindsay when she returned to the clinic after simply having her hair done.
Dawn reportedly grabbed and pushed Lindsay so hard, she began to cry. That’s when Lindsay called 9-1-1.
