Alanis Morissette Gives Birth to Baby Boy!
Alanis Morissette got a special Christmas present this year: a new baby boy! People Magazine reports that the singer, 36, and her husband Mario ‘Souleye’ Treadway welcomed a baby boy on Christmas day. “All are healthy and happy,” said a rep.
And for the name: Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway. Yowza, that’s a mouthful! Ever is close to EvAN, but…I don’t know. What do you think of the name?
Alanis and Mario were married back in May at their Los Angeles home, and announced the pregnancy – an admitted surprise – in August. But she quickly grew excited about having a baby; when she appeared on Chelsea Lately in August to promote her role on Weeds, she said, “I’m glowing!”
Fun fact: Alanis was actually once engaged to fellow Canadian and newly single Sexiest Man Alive Ryan Reynolds. Sounds like she’s forgotten all about him!
