Natalie Portman Engaged and Pregnant!
It’s a big year for Natalie Portman – and not just because her fantastic performance in Black Swan is generating Oscar buzz. In the most shocking holiday celeb news yet, People Magazine reports that the 29 year-old actress is engaged to Benjamin Millepied – and she is pregnant with their first child!
The couple met during the production of Black Swan. Benjamin was born in 1977 in France and is a principal dancer for the New York City Ballet. In addition to choreographing Black Swan, he also played Natalie’s and Mila Kunis’ dance parter and spoke a few lines. He said in an interview in Details magazine: “I really, really got into it…I was blown away—especially by Natalie, who was amazing to watch.” Clearly there was more going on than acting admiration!
Natalie has been notoriously quiet about her personal life, though she once dated musician Devendra Banhart, and according to Marie Claire, proclaimed herself to be single in 2009.
