Paula Abdul’s new reality show, Live to Dance, premiered last night and was more exciting than many expected.
The popular choreographer and former American Idol judge kept it together and provided contestants of all ages (including a 90-year-old woman) with inspirational words and constructive criticism.
The judging panel – which consisted of Paula, Travis Payne (former choreographer to Michael Jackson) and former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt – was a breath of fresh air with their positive outlook on almost every contestant/group to enter the competition, but ultimately it was the dancers that made last night’s premiere a success.
There were many successful performers last night (including the first kid shown, I believe his name was Jayden – and the final two performers who were about 10 years old and afraid to say they were dating 
) but one contestant still stands out in everyone’s mind – the girl who slammed her head on the stage and ended up with an enormous goose egg on her forehead.
Poor girl, took it like a champ on stage in front of millions and ended up fine after her fall. Unfortunately, she didn’t make it through to the next round. Maybe next year.
