It was like a scene from a movie…
Peter Fonda made a horrific discovery yesterday: he found a dead body in a car off Sunset Boulevard in the Pacific Palisades community of Los Angeles. CNN reports that the 70 year-old Easy Rider actor noticed a car had been parked in the same spot on a side street off Sunset for two days, so he stopped to see if something was wrong. Here’s why he called 911:
“He looked in the vehicle and saw a body in there and called the fire department,” said Los Angeles Police Homicide Det. Allen Shubert. A man, who had committed suicide several days before, was slumped over in the front seat of the sedan.
The man’s identity has not been released, but the detective says he was not a celebrity. (I guess you have to ask that in LA.)
