Weeks after giving birth to a son, Miranda Kerr posted a photo of herself nursing baby Flynn(!), born January 6, 2011, on her Kora Organics website on Tuesday. Describing him as “our beautiful little son” the model also revealed that she opted to give birth naturally – without any pain medication.
“It was a long, arduous labor,” Miranda admitted, “but Orlando [Bloom] was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him [via PEOPLE].”
The model’s parents, Therese and John, were also in the delivery room as Flynn was born. They flew from Miranda’s native Australia to the United States to be with their daughter through the birth.
“We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine,” Miranda continued. “Thank you everyone for your beautiful well wishes and your lovely thoughts.”
Miranda and Orlando starting dating in 2007 and were married in an ultra-secret wedding ceremony last July.
