Jesse James and Kat Von D Engaged
Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband Jesse James is engaged to tattoo artist Kat Von D, according to People Magazine. “You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs,” James explained. “I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said ‘yes.’ Growing old with her is going to be a f—-n’ blast!”

His optimism also shines through on Twitter: “They say True love will always shine through. The only reason I started Twitter again? so I could publicly profess my love for @thekatvond,” he wrote.
Jesse, 41, and Kat, 28, started dating last summer; Jesse’s divorce was finalized last June. In September, Kat said that Jesse was “the one,” and reiterated her feelings after he popped the question. “There is no one else for me. He’s the one,” she said. Meanwhile, Jesse’s ex was rumored to be dating Ryan Reynolds, but she said at the Golden Globes that it’s just not true.
Jesse currently lives in Austin, while Kat films her show LA Ink in Los Angeles – and it sounds as though it’s going to stay that way. ”If only it were that easy,” Kat responded when asked if she’d move to Texas. “Having two places we call home will be good for now. In the end, home is where the heart is, and my heart’s with him.”
