Amy Beck Story Sparks More Controversy: Husband Sued by Student’s Parents!
The story of Amy Beck, the 33-year-old former teacher who confessed to having sexual relations with her 14-year-old student, just seems to get weirder and weirder as time passes.
The story was disturbing enough in the beginning: A seemingly normal 33-year-old grade 6 teacher who appeared to be an integral part of the community all of a sudden walks into the police station and admits that she’s been having sex with one of her underage students for months.
It’s a disturbing story but not one that we haven’t heard before. Until the new twist:
While most husbands would be furious over their wife’s affairs (and downright sickened when they found out the other person was a 14-year-old student), Amy Beck’s husband took a different angle. Instead of leaving his wife and distancing himself from these horrendous acts, police officer National Beck (Amy’s husband) reportedly threatened to murder the teen – and the boy’s family – according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday against him.
What a pair.
Amy and National may be our very first 21st century Paul Bernado and Karla Homolka.
Let’s hope not.
