Will Kate Hudson Get Engaged?
Kate Hudson’s baby bump is getting bigger – and fans are wondering if the actress will marry the baby’s father, Matt Bellamy of Muse. According to MTV News, Kate set the record straight on The Graham Norton Show: “I’m just starting to pop,” she said. “We have a couple of names but we’re not telling anyone. People tell you so much [about being pregnant], it drives me nuts.”
Her 7 year-old son, Ryder, “thinks it’s a girl.” Kate’s thoughts? “It feels like a girl, but I don’t know,” she said.
As for that big wedding question: Kate and her ex, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, have been divorced for several years – but will she walk down the aisle with Matt? “No, no, not that I know of! I don’t like putting that sort of pressure on it and I don’t feel it necessary to get married,” she said of Matt, 32, whom she’s only been dating for nine months. “I am 31, I already have one child and have had one divorce, so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy.” Last summer, Kate told Elle, “Matt and I are just learning about each other and it’s wonderful.”
Who needs a wedding? Kate’s mom, Goldie Hawn, is thrilled about just the baby. “I’m excited! It’s exciting,” she said. “You know, we’re just all very happy … happy for them both. What’s more to say?”
