Chantal O’Brien is definitely a frontrunner to win this season of The Bachelor (if you want to know if she wins, check out our major spoilers here) but her off-screen, pre-Bachelor past may be coming back to haunt her.
Brad Womack has spent the majority of this season trying to convince viewers that he’s a good, trusting person with good intentions – too bad the same may not be true for Brad’s favorite bachelorette this season.
New explosive details of Chantal’s marriage – and subsequent divorce – are hitting the media this week, proving that Chantal may not be the angel everyone thinks she is.
Starcasm.net quotes Star as saying “Star can exclusively reveal that Chantal’s marriage crumbled because she had a torrid affair with a cop! ‘They met at a grocery store,’ says an insider. And where was her husband? ‘He was on vacation with her dad!’ the insider reveals. She soon filed for divorce and moved in with the policeman. ‘Her family really disapproved, and ultimately they broke up,’ adds the insider.
Chantal’s ex-husband worked for (and still works for) her father, so it’s obvious why he hasn’t spoken out regarding the story.
Brad asked all of the girls to open up on one of their group dates about whether they had cheated but Chantal was conveniently left out of that group date since she had a one-on-one with Brad earlier that week. Wonder if she would have fessed up?
And Chantal may not be the only one hiding details of her past this season. Brad has given viewers quite the sob story about his relationship with his father, claiming he was abandoned for years and still doesn’t have a tight relationship with him.
Well, Brad’s dad opened up to Star Magazine about the situation, revealing that he “was shocked when I saw how Brad talks about our relationship. We talk at least once a week and we text message all the time.”
So many lies and only one season to fit them all in!

Shawntel N. seems natural, at ease and mature–people just are not focusing on her very much–best choice. Emily would be fine but she tends to not be ready. Chantal O cries all the time when she doesn’t get what she wants. For 28, kind of a baby. Spoiled?! The other ladies haven’t been crying and they are younger, but mature. Unanimous that Michelle would go eventually, some of the things she said were ridciulous–ratings?!

For one no one should just chantel because of a divorce because we dont know if someone is lying about the situation and two i have been in a similar position to brad and its easier to wait and explain that situation i have done it multiple times in relationships

Do you honestly think that an environment as artificial as this is likely to produce a relationship that is sufficient for a healthy marriage?
what kind of person even approaching emotional health would agree to a public romance, open competition, and multi-dating? And since when are all the women (or men) supposed to fall in love with the bachelor/ette?
Does anybody realize how little time in total is spent getting to know one another? About all that should happen at the end of this synthetic scenario is a decision whether to continue dating whomever– maybe even more than one.
And the kinds of stunts they have to do? Who in the heck in a “real-life” scenario would require a prospective soul mate to scale a building or any of the other feats the producers think up in order to entertain the viewers?
Of course all of the segments are heavily edited as well.
Isn’t anyone tired of the repetitive “Will you accept this rose” yet??
And I still shake my head knowing that all of these gals who love their families seem to have no problem agreeing to sleep with the bachelor knowing that the families will see the offer being given to three women.

come on… I feel like I want to be ill when I hear Emily talk about how pure and what a good mom she is… Emily dated Dale Earnhart Jr. after her love died and she spends a lot of time at the race track. Her reaction to the racetrack was bogus and all an act… Brad would do well with Chantal but now Reality Steve says he picks Emily… too bad… I hope he’s wrong again!!!

i think brad was breaking all the girl’s heart. i don’t think he’s ready to settle down.he should stay as he is & enjoy his freedom as he has there are more fish in the sea. i fell in love w/ him the min. i seen him but i’d love to date him he knows how treat a ladybut also using them & breaking their hearts isn’t life.hope u have a future brad & too bad it isn’t ME! i’d take u in a minute. i’ll be watching the show in may when u return. lol.
