The world just can’t stand the idea that Scarlett Johansson might be single. Two weeks ago, rumors swirled that the Sexiest Woman Alive was dating SNL funnyman Jason Sudeikis – and now Us Weekly is reporting that the 26 year-old is dating Oscar winner Sean Penn, 50.
An insider claims that Scarlett and Sean began dating in early January when she was staying at L.A.’s Chateau Marmont while filming the upcoming movie We Bought a Zoo with Matt Damon. “Their first hook-up was in Scarlett’s Bungalow,” the source said. ”Scarlett first reached out to Sean when she was planning to visit Haiti with Oxfam. She knew Sean was living there in a tent and turned to him for advice.” The source added: ”Scarlett’s smitten with him.”
Scarlett and Sean are both divorcees; Scarlett split from Ryan Reynolds in late 2010, while Sean ended his 14-year marriage with Robin Wright last August. But isn’t a 24-year age difference a bit much? Maybe Scarlett did hook up with Sean Penn – but let the girl have fun being single, jeez!
Besides, Scarlett was seen crying at a dinner with ex-hubby Ryan Reynolds, where the two reportedly were going over divorce details. Do you really think she’s jumping into a serious romance already?
