Poor girl, can’t catch a break.
Christina Aguilera joined the likes of Jennifer Hudson and other notable artists for a tribute to Aretha Franklin but the performance didn’t end on such a high note.
As Christina was about to walk off the stage, she tripped and fell but luckily saved herself after grabbing onto the microphone stand for dear life.
Florence Welch (from the incredible band Florence and the Machine) helped Aguilera regain her footing after her fall but not before media outlets took notice of the mishap.
Aguilera made media headlines last week when she flubbed the words to the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Everyone was waiting anxiously to see if her Grammy performance was the comeback she was hoping for and – despite the minor mishap – Christina did nail the performance and received a sincere applause from the audience.
Too bad this morning everyone is talking about her fall – and her potential pregnancy – instead of her great performance but, hey, that’s entertainment right?
