David Koch (Ian Murphy) Phone Prank on Gov. Scott Walker Goes Viral (LISTEN)!

Here’s a little something to make your afternoon more interesting: BuffaloBeast.com editor Ian Murphy made a prank phone call to Governor Scott Walker pretending to be David Koch – and Walker believed the whole thing.

The whole transcript of the phone call can be found on the Buffalo Beast website (don’t be surprised if the link doesn’t work, the site has been on-and-offline all day today) but the whole phone call can be heard below.

The phone call is highly amusing – especially when Murphy puts his two cents in every once in a while, calling people bastards and Walker agreeing with him, but you really have to hear it for yourself.

This is probably one of the best pranks ever pulled off in the political community.

The last exchange between Murphy (as Koch) and Walker:

Murphy:  Well, I tell you what, Scott: once you crush these bastards I’ll fly you out to Cali and really show you a good time.

Walker: All right, that would be outstanding.
Wonder if the trip is still going to happen?

Here are the two videos featuring the phone calls (watch them in order to get the most accurate transcript):

Do you think Ian Murphy was out of line – or do you think the prank was hilarious?
