Many people would argue that Kim Kardashian is famous for no reason (other than her infamous sex tape, of course) but it appears that the budding star has the ability to be successful in many areas of entertainment – including music.
The reality star/model/actress is now diving head first into the music industry with her new single “Jam” which debuted on Ryan Seacrest’s radio station this morning.
So what are my thoughts on the song?
While I love Kim Kardashian (didn’t really like her before Keeping Up with the Kardashians started but now I think she has substance and talent) I don’t think this is the best song she could have burst onto the music scene with.
I know many of you will disagree with me when I say this but Kim’s voice and music style remind me a little too much of Heidi Montag.
Is it just me or can anyone have a music career these days? I mean, Kim is great at a lot of things (modeling, shopping etc.) but repeating the same words over and over in a digitally-enhanced record isn’t exactly what music is all about.

Chris Jenner is too greedy for my liking. She’s now exploiting her youngest daughters to make a buck. So sad.
I’ll never understand how people with such influence don’t want to do something greater for mankind…feed hungry children, provide funds for research that will cure disease, rebuild ravaged areas, help battered children, etc.
The one with the most shoes wins – what a legacy, what a joke. Shame.
