Amanda Seyfried: From Dominic Cooper to Ryan Phillippe
I love Amanda Seyfried. She’s always refreshingly honest in interviews (she once said of being thin: “I’m not going to deny that I don’t think about it every day, it’s always on my mind.”) – and she also dates uber-hot men. People Magazine reports that the 25 year-old got cozy with Ryan Phillippe last night at the after party following the premiere of her new movie, Red Riding Hood.
“They were so sweet,” an onlooker said. ”She was smiling ear-to-ear. He gave her a hug, and she sat next to him. He rubbed her back and shoulder, and she had her hand on his knee.”
Despite the PDA, Amanda played coy when asked about her relationship with Ryan for her cover story in the new April issue of Elle Magazine. “Um, yeah,” she says. “I’ve been ‘seen’ with him.” Come on, lady! No more deets?
However, she was forthcoming when it came to talking about her ex, Dominic Cooper, her 32 year-old British co-star from Mamma Mia. “I got my heart broken pretty hard,” Amanda explained. “After that, it’s really hard to open myself up to a new person. Really hard.” Though she dated Dom for over three years, it had a rocky beginning because he was still dating someone else. ”I was just kind of foolishly thinking that the two of them were done and Dom and I were involved,” she said. They finally split up permanently about a year ago.
Amanda says romances with co-stars are “one of the easiest things in the world.” She adds: You’re put in a situation where you have to make out with each other. It’s easy for things to get carried away.”
