Denise Richards is doing everything in her power to keep her kids happy during her ex-husband’s whirlwind press tour but, at the end of the day, every child deserves the love of their father and his two young girls are missing out big time.
While all of us continue to watch the train wreck that is Charlie Sheen, it’s his children who are paying the price in the long run. Charlie Sheen’s poor daughters (Sam, 7, and Lola, 5) are being swept aside for Ustream videos and illegitimate cooking shows. Even sadder, it was Sam’s 7th birthday yesterday and Charlie Sheen go see her (although Denise would likely – and reasonably so – not let Charlie within 50 feet of those precious girls).
Fortunately for Sam and Lola, they have a great mom who is dedicated to making them the happiest girls in the world. Denise Richards has had full custody of the girls for quite some time now and has been shielding them from the media in order to protect them from their father’s behavior. Sources now say Charlie wants to host a birthday party for Sam and all her friends at his house this weekend – ya, that sounds like a great idea.
Despite what’s going on in the media, Denise made sure Sam’s birthday was a happy one – even if her father wasn’t present at the celebration. Richards left these messages on her Twitter page yesterday:
“Happy 7th Birthday to my beautiful daughter Sami! You and lola are my little pillars of strength …I love you..” and “Just dropped off the sprinkles cupcakes at school..lovely celebration for Sami..it will continue on tonight!”
Missing out on your daughter’s 7th birthday isn’t exactly something we’d expect from a WINNING bitchin’ total freakin’ rockstar, is it, Charlie? Nope, that makes you a huge LOSER actually. Just sayin.
