It’ll be two kids and counting for Josh and Anna Duggar! People Magazine reports that Josh (the first of 19 kids in TLC’s famous Duggar Family) and his wife Anna are expecting their second child. Anna’s due date is June 19.
Anna and Josh are just 22 and 23 – could this be the beginning of a gigantic family? They already have a daughter, Mackynzie (17 months). “We are explaining to Mackynzie about having a new baby in the house,” Anna says. “I don’t know if she knows the difference between a belly button and a baby, but she is learning.”
So will Mackynzie get a brother or sister? It’s a boy! Anna and Josh decided to let Josh’s mom, Michelle, find out the gender of the baby at the ultrasound and then keep the secret for over a week a while before telling the whole family. ”We went to the ultrasound and decided that my mom would know,” Josh said. “We figured she could handle the secret and then have a surprise sharing of the information with the entire family, including me and Anna. ”I think Anna was getting a little bit anxious and excited to know, kind of antsy,” says Josh.
“We thought it was fun to have the whole family hear at the same time and have the excitement together, but it was hard to wait,” Anna added.
Michelle and Jim Bob gave all 19 of their kids a name beginning with J, but Josh and Anna haven’t yet decided if they will start their own tradition of using M names. “We still have a little time left to decide,” Josh says. “Anna and I will find a good name that will be perfect for this little boy.”
“Our No. 1 tradition is having Josh read the bible to the baby,” Anna says. “And we tell the baby, ‘We love you and we can’t wait to meet you.’

I have a good name for baby boy Duggar. Michael James, he’ll be named after his grandma and grandpa Duggar. And the names have a nice ring to them-Michael James Duggar.
