Every season there is one Dancing with the Stars pair whose chemistry is so hot and so captivating that it keeps viewers voting to see whether a real life romance can develop. This year, that couple is Lacey Schwimmer and Mike Catherwood.
Lacey and Mike were so hot on Monday night’s kick-off episode that ABC is asking the couple to turn down the heat in the weeks to come.
The couple may have received the lowest score on the season premiere but something tells me this duo might last strictly on viewer votes (much like Bristol Palin and Kate Gosselin from previous seasons).
Lacey and Mike aren’t the only dancing duo to see sparks fly during the competition. On Season 5, it was Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan and her partner Mark Ballas who stole the spotlight. On Season 10 it was both Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke and Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy who lit up the dance floor with their undeniable chemistry. Needless to say, none of those couples are still together (although I’m still holding out hope for Erin and Maks!).
Will Lacey Schwimmer and Mike Catherwood’s chemistry keep them in the running for the mirror ball trophy? I sure hope so!
