The war between Kirstie Alley and George Lopez is ON – and Kirstie is fighting dirty, bringing up George’s ex, whom he got a kidney from.
It all started on Tuesday on Lopez Tonight, when George Lopez discussed Kirstie’s performance on Dancing with the Stars, likening her to a pig. ”She did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away,” he said. “Before the show she went to the market, then she had roast beef, and this is her going all the way home,” he continued before showing a video of a pig squealing (you can check out the video below). Classy, George, classy. First off, overweight people are still PEOPLE and we should treat them as such. And secondly, I can’t stand when people criticize overweight people for DOING HEALTHY THINGS LIKE DANCING. Give Kirstie a break!
Kirstie turned to Twitter to fight back: “Don’t worry about George’s comments…just remember what happens to the big bad, drunk woolf…falls in a boiling pot of vodka.Piggy laughs,” she said.
George tweeted an apology: “I misjudged the joke. No malice was intended and I apologize to Kirstie,” he said.
And that’s when Kirstie got personal. “I don’t need or want ur apology,” she tweeted. ”I want your kidney dude..on behalf of ur X and all the women uv insulted…give it back.”
Kirstie is referring to Lopez’ ex-wife Ann, whom he split with back in December after 17 years of marriage. Ann donated a kidney to George in 2005.
