One Tree Hill Return Recap: Brookes Heartbreak, Haleys Miracle!

One Tree Hill fans were undoubtedly excited about the return of their favorite CW show and last night’s episode definitely did not disappoint.

If you missed it and you don’t want to know what happened, do not read any further. For those of you that do want to know, here’s a pretty concise recap of what you missed:

Haley and Nathan

Haley finally gave birth to her and Nathan’s beautiful baby girl. Haley went into labor in last night’s episode and most of the filming took place in the hospital. The episode also brought about a little bit of laughter as Jamie, Quinn and Clay had a cracker eating challenge while they waited for the little bundle of joy to arrive.

Brooke and Julian

While Haley, Nathan and Jamie basked in the excitement of their new arrival, the heartbreak that follows Brooke’s every move was there with her in last night’s episode as well.

As most of you probably know, Brooke and Julian (played by Austin Nichols, who made his director’s debut in this episode) planned to adopt a baby from a teen mom who’s boyfriend left her. Well, long story short, the boyfriend shows up at the hospital and the two decide they no longer want to give their baby up for adoption.

Although last night was a tearful episode for fans of Brooke Davis, you can sleep soundly knowing that by the end of the season, Brooke does get the happiness she so rightfully deserves (at least that’s what I read in a spoiler J).

Did you watch OTH last night? What did you think of the return?
