The Voice Tv Show: Who Was your favorite? (Watch!)
The Voice tv show premiered tonight on NBC with a jam packed 2 hour episode. We watched as some artists were sent away while others had their dreams come true!
Who did we pick as our favorite performances?
5.Vicci Martinez – Rolling in the Deep – Cee Lo Green is a lucky lucky man. When I heard this all I could think of was a mixture between Janis Joplin and Melissa Etheridge.. Such a great sound!
4. Beverly - Take Another Little Piece of My Heart – Bald and tattooed Beverly gave me chills with this Janis Joplin Hit and the best part about it is that she’s having soooo much fun doing it!
3. Javier - Time After Time - Father of two, Javier talks about his economic troubles and how his life as an artist has been tough. Hopefully it won’t be after Adam Levine gets his hands on him.
2. Rebecca – Come as You Are – This song was actually very surprising. It took me a minute while I was singing along that it was actually Nirvana. It sounded completely different, and she really took the song to a new place. (I know I will be angering a few Nirvana fans with that comment.)
1. Xenia Martinez – Break Even – Shy girl Xenia Martinez wowed the group with her raspy and beautiful Break Even. And what an amazing story – her classmates don’t even know she sings! I’m sure they’ll be very surprised!
