Kate Middleton See Through Dress for College Fashion Show (Photos): A Look Back!
Kate Middleton will be one of the most memorable – and beautiful – brides of the decade and will walk down the aisle in a beautiful and elegant gown in just over an hour. And while Kate’s personal style is one of the most popular topics today, it should be noted that fashion is what brought Kate and William together in the first place.
In 2001, Kate Middleton caught the eye of one of the most eligible bachelors in the world when she walked down the catwalk in this very revealing see-through dress for a college fashion show. It was noted at the time (and countless times since) that Prince William saw Kate on the runway in this flirty outfit and told his friends he had to meet her.
Later that night, at a college party, Prince William not only met but attempted to kiss Kate, despite the fact that she had a boyfriend. Needless to say, the boyfriend is history and the dress she wore that day will go down in history as well.
Looking at this dress reminds us that Kate is a fun, normal girl who doesn’t take herself too seriously.
