Bachelorette 2011: Bachelor West Lee’s Wife’s Death, Sarah Lee, Sparks Controversy!
The 2011 season of ABC’s The Bachelorette hasn’t even started and already there’s a ton of controversy surrounding one of the contestants.
West Lee, one of the bachelors competing for Ashley Hebert’s heart on the new season, is in the middle of a bizarre situation involving the death of his wife, Sarah Lee.
The Story Behind the Death of Sarah Lee (West Lee’s Wife):
On September 9, 2007 West’s wife, Sarah Lee, drowned in their bathtub. West was in the other room and his had reportedly locked herself in the bathroom after the couple had an argument about Sarah being involved in 3 car accidents within the last few days leading up to her death.
Star Magazine reports that West and Sarah made a lifestyle of partying, drinking and smoking weed (which West admitted to in the police report) and Sarah’s parents have come forward with their doubts about the bachelor.
“I believe West was my daughter’s enabler, and I just feel he had something to do with Sarah’s death, Dianna Sapp told the magazine.
“I would tell Ashley to think long and hard before getting into a relationship with him.”
Sarah was reportedly in a rehab facility right before her death and West took her out of it.
Wonder if West will tell Ashley about his wife’s death on this season of the Bachelorette?
