Harold Camping, the Prophesier of Judgement Day (or Judgment Day as some spell it), is 100 percent certain that the world will begin to end on May 21, 2011 – this Saturday.
Harold was interviewed about his thoughts on Doomsday and asked exactly how certain he is that the world will end this weekend. This is his response:
“God has given sooo much information in the Bible about this, and so many proofs, and so many signs, that we know it is absolutely going to happen without any question at all.”
When asked how he can be so certain, especially after he wrongfully predicted that the world would end in 1994, he replied with this:
“In 1992, two years earlier than that, I had already begun to see that there was a good likelihood that 2011 would be the end, but at that time when my research in the Bible was not nearly complete.”
Camping was then asked to describe exactly what he expects to happen on May 21 to which he gave this explanation:
“…when we get to May 21 on the calendar in any city or country in the world, and the clock says about — this is based on other verses in the Bible — when the clock says about 6 p.m., there’s going to be this tremendous earthquake that’s going to make the last earthquake in Japan seem like nothing in comparison. And the whole world will be alerted that Judgment Day has begun. And then it will follow the sun around for 24 hours. As each area of the world gets to that point of 6 p.m. on May 21, then it will happen there, and until it happens, the rest of the world will be standing far off and witnessing the horrible thing that is happening.”
So what if 6 o’clock rolls around and nothing happens?
“I’m not even thinking about that at all. It. Is. Going. To. Happen,” he says.
So, I have to ask again. After reading Harold’s interview (we encourage you to read it in full here), do you still believe that he’s wrong when he is so positively certain the world WILL end this weekend?

There was a preacher in Korea predicting the rapture on October 28 1992. He had all of his ‘sheep’ give him their belongings and money. October 28 1992 came and went. There was no rapture. So no human being can lay claim they know when the rapture will happen. However Jesus did say their will be signs so you will not be left ignorant but will be able to discern. Be watchful and look up for your redemption is near. Signs are happening and have been over the years. However towards the end things will start happening much quicker and with more frequency. Personally I believe we are witnessing the signs now, the birthpains before the event, however again NO Human being knows the time or exact hour and it is foolish to say so as when your proven wrong as so many have been in the past it just makes people skeptical about the real signs and future coming again of Jesus Christ. The point in the Bible is you never know the time so be ready all the time. Live each day like it is your last. There will be many people that never believe no matter what signs are placed in front of them. The job of the Christian is to tell other people about the saving grace of Jesus Christ and to live through him to be a witness to others. One day we will know. Someone will be right.

“No one knows the day or hour” and Harold Camping doesn’t seem to address this, but most or all of the pieces on the Board are in place for the 2nd Coming. Whether or not Christ returns on the 21st, all “who have ears to hear” should call out to Him. I don’t have all the answers as to why we were allowed to go through the trials of this life, children starving, etc, but I know that we need Him more than He needs us. Christ also experienced all the suffering everyone past present and future ever will suffer anyway when He hung on the cross (it was more than the beatings [which would have killed any natural man long before he ever made it to the Cross by the way]). So He really has nothing to apologize for. Again, whether Jesus comes on the 21st or doesn’t come for another 5000 years is irrelevant. Whether you get run over by a bus, or live another 100 years, the issue is the condition of your soul, which can only be renewed by the blood of Christ, which is free…but not cheap.

Well Girls and Boys it seems that the only major thing from Harry’s broadcast stations is that “earthquakes” have happen around the world.

So for this guy or anyone else to say when the end fo time will take place, are saying they know more than Jesus “I don’t think so”.
