The Bachelorette is set to premiere tonight and we have all the details of tonight’s premiere, the new season and more!
Every Monday, we at Twirlit will post spoilers for each night’s episode so you can have insight on every rose ceremony elimination before it happens. Here are the spoilers for tonight’s episode (The Bachelorette Premiere), via RealitySteve.com:
Number of Bachelors: 25 to 18 (7 bachelors eliminated)
Who’s Eliminated Tonight? Tim McCormack (the drunk guy who passes out before the first ceremony), Frank Carpenter, Jon Ellsworth, Anthony Santucci, Mike Burns, Rob Dahm, and Chris Malhomme
Episode Overview:
Tonight Ashley will meet the 25 eligible bachelors who will be vying for her heart. She will meet a mystery man who keeps a mask over his eyes because he wants Ashley to get to know him inside first. She’ll also meet Tim McCormack – the guy who, in the sneak peek promo, gets so drunk he passes out and doesn’t even make it to the first rose ceremony lol.
The First Impression Rose: The first impression rose goes to Ryan Park. Ryan is the first guy to pull Ashley aside for some alone time during the cocktail party. Despite getting the first impression rose, Ryan and Ashley don’t have a one-on-one date until 7 episodes in – a long time for someone who receives the first impression rose.
Bentley: Bentley is a controversial character this season who, I’m sure, fans will love because of the drama. Ashley was warned by Michelle Money (although Michelle was never named, we just know it was a controversial bachelorette from Utah) that Bentley was bad news. Regardless, Ashley is completely attracted to him and gives him a lot of attention during the first few episodes. Why only the first few episodes, you ask? Because Bentley – who was clearly there only to promote himself – voluntarily leaves the show in the third episode. He tells Ashley it’s because he misses his daughter.
Bentley will return briefly – which I’m sure ABC will make into a huge drama-filled event – but not for long. He will apologize to Ashley but he won’t participate in another rose ceremony or stay on the show for an extended period of time. Basically, just another way for Bentley to gain some exposure before the show ends.
