Carrie Underwood vs. Lauren Alaina: Who can sing Think Before He Cheats better? Fans of American Idol got to see up close and personal just who would win between a Carrie /Lauren battle!
While Lauren fell just short of securing the American Idol 2011 title, she may walk away tonight with the title of Best Rendition of Think Before He Cheats – along with Carrie, obviously.
The audience and fans loved the duet between the two loveable country singers but we want to know what Twirlit readers thought of the performance.
Both Carrie and Lauren looked smokin’ hot on stage tonight and both women have the ability to get the crowd on their feet.
Did you see the duet between American Idol finalist Lauren Alaina and former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood? What did you think of the two gorgeous gals?
Personally I think Lauren is just as deserving of the American Idol title as Carrie – and more so than Scotty but I’ll leave that argument for another post J).

Are you serious with this article? Lets compare the all time biggest selling Idol who is recognized as having one of the great voices of our time and you compare her to a 16 year old that didn’t win and is so sick in this video she can barely sing.
Get back with another article when Lauren sells 11 million albums. Unfortunately we won’t see it in our lifetime!

Unfortunatley for you, yes I am serious with this article. I used to love Carrie Underwood but, as much as I love her albums, her live performances suck. In my opinion, this sick 16-year-old has more potential than Carrie which, I agree with you, is pretty sad – but nonethelss true.
I’m sure many of you will disagree but this is a blog and that’s what it’s for. i want to hear your opinion – even though you don’t want to hear/respect mine.
PS. I could see Lauren selling 11 millions album in her lifetime.
Funny. Carrie Underwood is known for her impeccable LIVE PERFORMANCES. EVERYONE prefers her live versions as opposed to her studio recordings. Carrie has a voice that NO ONE can touch. And no, I too don’t see Lauren selling 11 million. Maybe just 2, and that’s me being generous.
There is NO WAY Lauren will be able to touch 3 million.. What more 11.. She’s good.. but not THAT good. Carrie rules! #Fact
A 13 year old Carrie Underwood would still blow her away and many artists today. People who like Carrie don’t like her because she can dance or not.
If you suck at singing live, then yes you need to dance around and have light shows and what not to take the attention of how bad you sing. TLC were even lip singing their songs.
There is a reason why Carrie has sold so many albums in the US and Canada only.
Hi… Come on people … Carrie Underwood is a wonderful singer on stage or recorded.. but let’s give a hand for this little girl who is living her dream. She has her owe voice.. she just sang with her idol … that was a dream for her.. be happy for her… everyone needs to follow their owe dreams.. Great Work for a 16 year old… Good Luck.
Lauren Alaina is not that great of a singer. She is no Carrie Underwood or, for that matter, Kelly Clarkson either. She is not even in the same league. Very lame season this year.
