Kim Kardashian Engaged to Kris Humphries: Engagement Ring is Amazing (PHOTO)!
Kim Kardashian has had a rough road when it comes to love but she’s finally found the person she wants to settle down with – and now they’re officially engaged!
The proposal happened on May 18 but Kim and her soon-to-be husband Kris Humphries have kept it a secret from the media for the past week.
Now the two are ready to go public and we have all the details of the proposal – and the ring!
The Proposal
Kris was waiting in Kim’s bedroom for her to get home. When she opened the door, he was on bended knee with “Will You Marry Me?” spelled out with rose petals – so cute!
“I didn’t expect this at all,” Kim told PEOPLE. “I was in shock. I never thought it would happen at home and I never thought now.”
The Engagement Ring
Kris, who has been dating Kim for just 6 months, popped the question with a custom-made 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring.
Humphries told the media, “I just knew I wanted it to be big” (I’ll hold off on the “that’s what she said” jokes for now 
).
