Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina Kiss Sparks Dating Rumors (PHOTO)!!
Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina have a lot to be celebrating today! Not only did the two teens become nation-wide sensations after making the Final Two of American Idol 2011 but they also became best friends over the course of the journey.
While Lauren refers to Scotty has her “best friend,” Scotty is acting a little coyer about the situation. It’s crystal clear that Lauren is head-over-heals smitten with Scotty and I’m pretty sure he adores her as well.
When it was announced that Scotty had won American Idol, Lauren wasted no time planting a great big kiss on his lips. Then, Scotty gave Lauren a long hug before kicking off the rest of his celebration.
Today Idol fans are ecstatic to learn that Lauren and Scotty may be dating.
When asked by a reporter at the American Idol press conference if she and Scotty were dating, Lauren turned to Scotty and said “they asked if we were dating and I told them to ask you.” She continued, “I mean, I’ll never tell, your secret’s safe with me.”
When Scotty was asked the same question after he was announced winner, he said he was single – but it seems like there might be something a little more to the story. “I’m still single but Lauren and I are really really really close friends.”
Together or not, these too are absolutely adorable together!
