Leann Rimes Bikini Photo: Defends “Scary Skinny” Comment on Twitter (PHOTO)!
Leann Rimes and her new hubby Eddie Cibrian enjoyed a great honeymoon this week and the country songstress took to her Twitter to share some photos with her fans. While most congratulated Leann and Eddie, there was one follower who had a lot to say about Leann’s bikini body – and it wasn’t flattering.
“Whoa, you’re scary skinny! Sorry don’t mean to offend but that’s a lot of bones showing through skin,” the follower tweeted to Leann.
Leann quickly quipped back with “Those are called abs, not bones, love.” She finished by saying “This is my body and I can promise you I’m a healthy girl. I’m just lean.”
The controversial star’s weight has been the subject of many headlines over the past few years but, I have to agree with Leann on this one. Being a skinny girl myself, I know what it’s like when people criticize you for being too small. Telling someone they look “scary skinny” is just as rude and inappropriate as telling someone they look “scary fat” which, in almost all circumstances these days is considered unacceptable.
A person’s weight is a personal matter. It’s not up to us to judge. If she’s happy, let her be.
