The Voice TV Show sent Casey Desmond home tonight while Jeff Jenkins stays on for the live show. Did she deserve to be sent home from Team Adam Levine?
I always feel bad for the contestants that didn’t get showcased during the blind auditions. It’s hard as a viewer to feel a connection especially against a power house like Jeff Jenkins. If you remember, Jeff Jenkins performed “Bless the Broken Road” and it got ALL four judges to turn around. His performance was dedicated to his mother who passed away this year.
The two worked with Adam Levine where Adam told Jeff to pull back while he asks Casey to really push it especially on that last note. Adam goes on to say in his interview that he thinks that Casey will be able to push through and possibly win – but really Adam who are you kidding?
The two battle it out:
In the battle, Jeff just nails it. He has the coaches smiling like crazy people and he just gives everyone the fuzzies. As great as Casey Desmond is, and I honestly think she is really great, I think she had a tough contestant and I don’t think she did as well as him. As Adam said there’s something about him.
What did you think about the elimination?
Yes, Jeff has a big heart, but its about the F**KING VOICE THATS WHY ITS CALLED THE VOICE AND JEFF IS AN AWFUL SINGER, I COULD STAND HIM BEFORE BUT THIS IS TOO MUCH, CASEY OWNED THAT SONG JEFF OVERPRONOUSED EVER F**ing WORD, IT SOUNDED LIKE ONE OF THOSE BAD AMERICAN IDOL AUDITIONS, I WAS EXCITED ABOuT THE VOICE BECAUSE IT WO:ULD BE ABOUT THE VOICE BUT APPARENTLY ITS NOT, SO F**K YOu ADAM LEVENE, AND CEE LO TOO, I WAS A BIG FAN OF YOu But AFTER YOU GOT R:IIDD OF EMILY VALENTINE I DELETED ALL OF YOUR MUSIC OFF MY IPOD I HATE JEFF NOW AND I WANT HIM OFF THE F**KING SHOW, I CANT WAIT FOR THE X FACTOR, I WAS MAD THEY KICKED CHERYL COLE OFF BUT THEY WILL HAVE SIMON F**KING COWELL, HE IS THE ONLY HOPE FOR REALITY MUSICAL SHOWS BECAUSE HE IS HONEST, HE WOULD OF HATED JEFF! HE HAD BETTER NOT WIN THE SHOW NOW, GOD!!!!
Why are you yelling?
Everybody in Boston knows Casey Desmond is a superstar and a total pro. She’s so much of a pro that she wouldn’t sign the ridiculously unfair contract that NBC tried to scam her into. She’s already got a bunch of CDs released with incredible heavyweights like Tony Levin playing on them. She can sing circles around everybody else on that stage. They wanted her to give up all her songwriting royalties for anything she’s done or ever will do. She wisely told them to stuff it. THAT’S why she got so little exposure and eventually the hook. Like everything else in the entertainment biz, it’s all about MONEY. True fact.
Its such as you read my thoughts! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the e book in it or something. I think that you simply can do with some p.c. to power the message home a little bit, however other than that, that is wonderful blog. An excellent read. I’ll certainly be back.
