Tonight we saw Ashley and JP embark on their first date and the two had an instant connection. After Bentley left, it became fairly obvious that JP was a frontrunner this season. But did Ashley pick JP in the end?

Yes. Barb is totally correct. JP has it all figured out. He was perfectly happy with an at home low key evening with Ashley. The problem with this show is that there are all of these fantasy dates and locations but if the couple is going to make it, the low key, simple, at home times will be the times that keep them together. He doesn’t need the flash and glamour to love Ashley. I say – JP is the perfect choice for Ashley. And what a darling grin!!

Just because ben f. dosent do that doesnt mean its wrong, it just means hes a different preson. jp is perfect with ashely. on all of there dates she doesnt have to do that many things together for them to have fun. one of there dates they just stayed at her house and had a normal night and were themselves they werent trying to be someone else they werent, which ashley always says she is looking for. All she had to do on another date was go on an airplane to a beach ang hangout, with ben f she had to go one a really fancy boat and go snorkoling. if your really in love with somone you wouldnt have to do that and thats with JP.

Lianna, yes they “signed” up for the show. Please put yourself in their shoes! If you actually thought you were in love with the one person and you had some serious competition, would you not feel jealousy? I really don’t believe that for one moment. He didn’t go beat someone up. He was honest. All those guys were jealous of each other, if they really wanted to be with Ashley. Isn’t it nice to be able to pontificate from our lofty positions?
I Julia, I feel you are being plastic here! He is Jewish, so hardly a skinhead. JP actually has very natural feelings. Wouldn’t you be jealous if you: 1) felt you were in love with someone who was dating many other women and calling all of those “relationships”, 2) felt the choice was completely out of your hands and control, and you could be sent home no matter what you were feeling inside, and 3) you had to wait to be asked on a personal date and again had no control over your destiny? Might you feel a little frustrated? JP speaks quite well, so I frankly don’t know what you were talking about. I will say that you do sound like a true snob. I’d rather have a blue collar man who is real that an intellectualizing man who doesn’t know the first thing about romance or what makes a woman feel special.

Oh yeah, JP…he’s the one for Ashley. He can give her what she wants and needs. He has what it takes. Ashley has alot to give as well. They make a great couple. Its gratifying to know they got together. I wish them the best in life together.
I think its great look how JP kept his cool when all of that happened with Bently and who did she trust to tell and obviously she made the right choice to tell him first he stood behind her, he was suprised but didnt react badly, and he didnt run and tell the other guys he left it to her. We do not understaND the feelings or stress that the show involves. We dont see behind the scenes and you can not say how you would react. I think he’s right for her but only time will tell.

Noooooo, I was rooting for Constantine after Bentley left. I thought they had a very real and genuine connection on their first one on one day. JP was not one of the guys I thought was fitting for Ashley. Yes he is very nice and humble and respectful but I thought he looked too old for her. The other guys seemed more fun than him. I almost feel as though he’s always going to be the good guy that can become a drag when you need to let loose. I’m glad she’s happy but I wished it was Constantine she picked not JP.

I really hope this is true, When the show first started i seen him and her beside each other and thought, wow they make a reallllly cute couple. They fit perfectly together, This whole Bently thing total BS and i dont think he needs his name put out any more, he’s such a D**che bag. yeah im sure there is a side that we havent seen to him, but frankly i dont want to see it. Ashley and JP are adorable together…she may have been blind to who Bently truly was, but I would imagine when you are in the moment it is not that easy to figure things out and she was real, vulnerable and honest about her feelings to the guys, I think that took alot of courage and sincerity. I agree they have the chemistry. They are always kissing. However, what has he really said about himself. Can’t survive on chemistry alone. It seems to me, starting at the first episode Ben was really sweet and they had a good conversation. Then, the orphanage date kind of set things in motion. The 1 on 1 date they had was everything. Serious moments and good, honest fun moments. Then this last episode they really had a good conversation and was always touching in some way. Holding hands, both at the same time. I just see Ben as the better honest match. They have the chemistry and the good solid foundation. I’m hoping the spoilers are wrong again this season. Don’t get me wrong. I love JP. They have hit it off since the beginning. But, here lately Ben seems to be the more honest match. I think either of these two would be a very good choice for her.
