Jennifer Connelly Has Baby Girl!
Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany have a new daughter! According to Us Weekly, Jennifer gave birth to Agnes Lark Bettany, at their home in New York City on May 31. Jennifer had the little tyke in a birthing pool.
“Everyone is healthy and doing well,” Jennifer’s rep said. “The family is very excited.”
Agnes is the third child for Jennifer; she joins older brothers Kai, 13, whom Jennifer had with her ex David Dugan, and Stellan, 7. Back in January, Jennifer, 40, talked about her pregnancy on Late Night with David Letterman : “The first three months were very sketchy,” she said. “You know how like you have your cell phone and you have to stand in one spot? It was like that with nausea. I had to stand in one spot, which happened to be in front of my refrigerator, which was open with me dipping pretzels in cream cheese and stuffing them in my mouth.” Well, that last part sounds good to me.
Jennifer and Paul met on the set of A Beautiful Mind in 2001 and married in 2003.
What do you think of the retro name Agnes? It’s not in the top 40 baby names for 2011 but maybe it’s making a comeback, like Abigail? I’m not in love with it, but I do love the baby’s middle name, Lark. Gorgeous!
