The Voice TV Show: Week 7 – Who was your Favorite? (Watch!)

Last night we got to see all our favorite perfomers from Team Christina and Team Blake duke it out American Idol style one by one. This week the decision is up to you – who stays and who goes?

Of all the performances I think three stook out the most for me: Dia Frampton, Xenia and Beverly McClellan.

They have always been my favorite performers throughout the show and I think they just did amazing last night!

1. Dia Frampton – Heartless

Dia ROCKED this performance and it was the best of the night hands down. Cee Lo told her it was the best rendition of a song that he’s ever heard, Adam said it was the best performance of the show while Christina sulked a little in the corner. Dia made Kanye West’s song her own and she did it without nerves. Good call on Blake’s part for asking her to play the piano.

Check out the performance below:

2. Xenia – Price Tag

I hate to keep talking about Xenia as this shy, young girl because I think she’s so much more than that. Xenia’s voice is addicting and she can pull at your heart strings like no one else on that stage. Watching her open up in this performance and in Team Blake’s performance made you just love her that much more. Her voice singing Price tag gave the song new depth.

Check out the performance below:

3. Beverly McClellan – Only One

Although Beverly mcClellan is one of my favorite’s and her Janis Joplin cover in the blind auditions sent chills down my spine – I was not impressed by Only One. Not because it wasn’t absolutely amazing (because it definitely was) but I’m sick of seeing her sing Melissa Etheridge. (The Janis Joplin cover she sang was also sung by Etheridge during an awards ceremony a few years back) In the team Christina performance we saw that she can sing basically anything so I hope that she doesn’t play it safe from now on and impresses America with songs we never thought she could sing. I’m excited to see what’s next.

Check out her performance below:

So who was your favorite performance of the night? One of these three or someone else?

  1. I luv these talent shows but what I dont like is these no talent naysayers calling out who they think won the whole thing, all performers were good now leave it up to audience to pick winners; remember Randy Jackson made the guy on American Idol lose by him saying he was going to win; Leave it up to audience

  2. Xenia proved that you don’t even need to hit those high notes or all those vocal acrobatics to give an impressive performance. You just need “The Voice”.

I agree, she is such a sweet soul and I get nervous for her when she performs. She captivates me and I love watching her. Gosh I hope she can find her confidence, when she does she will surprise us all even more.

  3. Randy didn’t make James lose by saying what he did. It was the voters period.

I love all these singers on The Voice, but Beverly stands out way above the rest in my opinion and I don’t even care for rock. But she makes me like it. Love that gal. Hope she wins the whole thing.

  4. I love Zenia. She’s shy but what a great voice. She reminds me of a young Norah Jones and once she opens up and gets more comfortable, she’ll be awesome

  5. I agree, Xenia is going to be an awesome performer once she gets past her shyness. Her voice is unique and beautiful. I wish her the best of luck.
I also like Beverly and Frenchie. they are both very talented. You Go Girl(s)!
Can’t wait until the next episode.

For team Blake I really like Xenia and her Voice is amazing ! She will have to get over that shyness I believe we will see more of her in the future. Christina’s team Frenchie has me still sing that song in my head Loved it.
