Emily Maynard and Brad Womack have been keeping silent on the details of their relationship but anyone who’s been following the couple is pretty much certain these two are broken up. So why keep hiding the truth?
It was reported last week that Emily spoke to a source at Life & Style Magazine, exclusively revealing that she and Brad were no longer together and that Brad had broken up with her by phone.
This news confirmed what many of us already knew: there was no relationship between Brad and Emily anymore. I mean anyone with half a brain could draw that conclusion. You show me a happily engaged couple who doesn’t see, speak to or speak about each other and I might believe that there’s still hope for these two but I don’t think it’s possible.
After the report published by Life & Style surfaced, Emily was quick to post a message on her Facebook saying “We are not allowed to talk to any media. Just for the record.”
So why aren’t Brad and Emily allowed to talk to the media about their relationship when every other couple in Bachelor/Bachelorette history has been allowed to after this much time? There’s really only one explanation: ABC wants fans to stay interested in Brad and Emily (mostly Emily) so that when they announce that she’s the next Bachelorette, there will be a media firestorm.
Not a bad plan on their part but they’re going to have to keep dragging us along for months. After all, there’s still a season of Bachelor Pad and Bachelor before Emily starts handing out the roses.

And do you think ABC plans to have Brad and Emily return for a “special” this season to help gain interest for Ashley’s season? I think so!
It would make sense that a return for Brad and Emily is planned but who really cares if they are not together. The fans loved the couple. Emily would not make a good bachelorette as she was so stoic in interactions with Brad. She is sweet but he carried all the conversations and romance.
After seeing last Monday nights show, I think it’s Brad that is going to be behind the door and as Chris told her he was here. i think that since they broke up, he wanted to try and see if they could make it together, and since she is the new batchlorett, Brad called Chris and said he wants to come back and see if she will have him…………….interesting?
I don’t believe that they will let Brad be the bachelor for a third time, he has commitment issues. If they do, I won’t be wathcing.
I am a looooong time fan of this show.. Have never missed a season and a hopefull romantic. I have to say, that the Brad/Emily season was my favorite. I adored those two together and definitely saw the chemistry. My preference would be for them to marry and make beautiful babies… If not.. then YES please encourage Emily to be the next bachelorette… I’ll bet it’s the most watched season ever. She is the kindest and most beautiful woman I’ve seen on that show.. inside and out… Seriously, that girl is a class act through and through.. I would have a hard time believing there are men out there worthy. Although, I felt Brad was worthy
Wow, you sure saw a different Emily than I did. Sure, she is beautiful, but she comes across as self-centered and without the ability to commit to ANY relationship. As gorgeous as she is, she is dedicated to the baggage and NOT to any potential partner. I’d like to see her “lead Bentley on” and then drop him like a hot rock.
ABC is not having Brad and Emily keep quiet bcuz they want her to be the next bachelorette. If anyone saw the previews for the june 20th episode Ashley is told that someone(more specifically he) is there staying in the same hotel as her, and they want us to believe its that jerkoff Bentley. My bet is its Brad,is he pulling a Jason Mesnick or is he just there to give her advice. What do u think?

I for one, am really just tired of the Womack and as for Emily, what a cold fish. If she’s the next Bachelorette, I’m afraid this one is not going to be watched by me. Just tired of both of them, really!

Emily still hasn’t recovered from her first finace’s death and that baggage is weighing her down in more ways than one. She is boring…would make a terrible Bachelorette!!! There are so many other vibrant, naturally beautiful women out there who would be a better choice than Emily. NO TO EMILY AS BACHELORETTE!!!!

I have to agree with the first post that Emily would not make a good Bachelorette unless there’s something we haven’t seen in her personality. Michelle M. would be a lot better choice for ABC. Brad,Chantal and Michelle were the three that carried the last season of the Bachelor. But if they’re going with Emily , then why not give Brad another shot this fall , he almost got it right this time . Certainly a lot more energy and vibrancy to the show with Brad
I’ve seen enough of Brad. I don’t know why he chose Emily in the first place. PLEASE do not have Emily as the next Bachelorette. She should just concentrate on her daughter.
First of all, who really cares anymore? Brad was fake and his voice was incredibly annoying I for one couldn’t put up with that any more than 2 minutes. Secondly, Emily seems like a complete bitch. It doesn’t matter how she was on the show, she wanted to win. Which she did but if you recall her appearance on the after the final rose, she had a severe attitude problem. Personally, I thought he should have chosen Chantel out of the two of them. I think Brad was more interested in how she looked then her actual personality. If she is the next bachelorette, I will not be watching, but who knows maybe Bentley will be on. More drama for everyone to feed in to.
