Rebecca Black Friday Pulled from Youtube – AMF Responds!
Black’s Rep tells TMZ, “We can confirm that we submitted a Take Down Notice to YouTube as a result of the dispute we have with Ark Music regarding the ‘Friday’ video.”
Rebecca Black has been in battle with Ark Music Factory over exploiting her song. The last straw came when Ark hosted a video account on Youtube charging viewers 2.99 for rental of the music video. They definitely took it too far and now the Black camp has pulled all instances of the video from Youtube.
Ark Music Factory tells TMZ, “We’re disappointed, having been in good faith negotiations with Rebecca Black and her representatives for months regarding any open issues.”
“There’s been an ongoing, open dialogue with our company. So we were blindsided to get a Take Down Notice — with no notice — alleging copyright infringement instead of a call or email from Rebecca’s representatives.”
They add, “We are going to continue to take the high road and work out the complaint as soon as possible.”
Do you think AMF has a right to charge viewers to see Rebecca Black’s video?
