Miss California 2011 Alyssa Campanella is Miss USA 2011 (PHOTOS)!
Alyssa Campanella is the redhead bombshell who was representing the state of California in tonight’s Miss USA pageant after winning the 2011 Miss California pageant earlier this year. She was a favorite from the beginning of the night with her noticeably different look and her surprisingly calm, casual approach to the pageant.
The final four were made up of Miss Texas, Miss California, Miss Alabama and Miss Tennessee.
Miss Texas was the third runner-up, followed by Miss Alabama which left Miss Tennessee and Miss California in the final two. While Miss Tennessee looked more the part of a pageant princess, the fiery auburn beauty took home the crown.
Best Friends Face Off
In what may be the first time in pageant history, the final two claim they are best friends. As the two women were announced as the final two, they turned to host Giuliana Rancic and said “we’re best friends.”
But alas – best friends or not – only one person can win and that woman is Alyssa Campanella.
The question is: Was she the best pick out of the 51 contestants this year? And what skeletons does she have hiding in her closet?
Hopefully Alyssa can manage to escape public scrutiny before she competes in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant on September 12 of this year.
