The Bachelorette 2011 Bentley Williams vs. Ashley Hebert: Whose Side Are You On?
Bentley Williams – the arrogant loser from the 2011 season of The Bachelorette – has made Ashley Hebert look like an emotional wreck in front of millions of viewers and he’s not finished with his humiliation and embarrassment this season.
While Bentley decided to voluntarily leave the show last week after expressing his disappointment with the Bachelorette not being Emily Maynard, Bentley makes a re-appearance on the show next week where Ashley will give him another shot at love.
Fans should keep in mind that at this point, with the exception of the warning she was given from Michelle Money, Ashley has no idea how awful Bentley is and how many horrible things he’s said about her to the camera. She is clueless, which is why she gives him another shot.
Don’t worry, he doesn’t stay long – although I don’t know if it’s his decision to leave again or if she sends him home but regardless he comes back and leaves again all in one episode.
Many fans think that Bentley is completely out-of-line and inappropriate with him comments and actions but there are some fans out there who think Bentley deserves a little more respect.
And while I’m definitely one of the people who think he’s a complete jack-ass for treating a woman the way he did (I feel bad for his daughter having to someday see that), I do have to admit that this season would be mind-numbingly boring if it weren’t for Bentley.
So, for that – and only for that, I thank you Bentley.
